Awesome list! I was just getting back into writing to earn some money for college (ugh…at the age where money actually matters now) and this post was very informative and helpful.

I think my number one problem is pricing – I’m just not good at it. I don’t do hourly rates simply because I do things extremely quickly. So when it comes to per/article pricing or per/word pricing I’m just about stuck.

Hey Ann, this top ten list is fantastic. I think loving what you do is excellent advice. First, if you are doing what you enjoy, it won’t feel like work.
