Script Frenzy: Only a Week Away!!
So we had NaNoWriMo in November — well April is the time for Script Frenzy.
Instead of writing a novel in a month, Script Frenzy challenges writers to script a 100-page screenplay in thirty days time. Are you up for the challenge? Check it out!!! If you’re going for it, stop back here and let us know and keep us up to date. We love to see what all you writers out there are up to.
Since winning her first writing competition, Eden Tyler, has only fallen more in love with the written word. She uses her English and Psychology backgrounds to create depth to her stories while contributing to and running websites about writing. This is what fulfills her, along with working as Co-Editor for FYW, but she also enjoys the freelance work that puts food on the table (and that ever-essential roof overhead) for her family.

Yay! Anyone here submitting?
100 pages rather than 100 words. ;)
Ha! Yeah…just changed that. Oops! I had almost one hundred words in that post. Wouldn’t be much of a challenge to do that…. ;)
Oh, how I wish 100 words would pass for much of anything right now, nonetheless a screenplay. :)
I will shortly be starting on a screenplay project and having a follow-along sort of feature on my writing blog, but it has nothing to do with Script Frenzy — just strange timing on my part. :) I’ll be doing more interviews with screenwriter Xandy Sussen during the project to not only keep me motivated while I work through my own script, but to give readers some insight from a produced writer along the way. She often has interesting things to say, so if you’re on Twitter you might want to follow her if you have an interest in screenwriting (@covermyscript). Merrel Davis (@UncompletedWork) is another good follow in that area.
Just signed up! I love this stuff! It’s the perfect kick in the arse to get the writing flowing!
